Network Waitaki provides innovative energy solutions to our customers, as well as providing electrical construction and maintenance services across New Zealand.
About the role:
The IT Infrastructure Lead plays a key role within our IDT team. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional IT infrastructure performance and functionality to our business. You will also effectively manage cyber security controls, deliver infrastructure support to business system projects, and lead small to midsized infrastructure projects.
We require a dedicated, self-motivated, and capable individual who can ensure the infrastructure support service delivers a great experience to all users. This role requires a high degree of self-direction and flexibility as it is key to planning, enabling, and supporting business expansion in an ever-evolving utility industry.
This is a full-time permanent position; 40 hours per week generally worked between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Some work outside normal business hours may be required.
Preferred Attributes:
5+ years network and server support experience essential
Experience managing vendors and service providers
Some project management experience an advantage
Good verbal and written communication
Proven ability to build and maintain strong collaborative working relationships
Well organized and able to juggle competing activities
Tenacity in taking problems through to successful outcomes
Able to show initiative and demonstrate a level of professionalism
