ABOUT THE ROLE:
As an ISO Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the ISO management systems, conducting internal audits, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that all processes meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
The primary focus of the role is to lead the attainment of new standards as well as ensure that the company's current ISO management systems (9001, 45001) continue to be compliant to ISO standards.
This is a newly created role and our client is prepared to be flexible for the right candidate – the working hours can be part-time or full-time to suit your situation. As part of the role you will be expected to:
Develop and implement ISO quality management systems.
Attain new ISO standards (eg. 14001).
Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
Train and mentor staff on quality management practices.
Prepare for and manage internal and external audits.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure process compliance.
Analyse data to identify areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain quality documentation and records.
Communicate quality objectives and performance to senior management/board.
Manage non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
ABOUT YOU:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in attaining ISO accreditation, managing quality assurance, continual process improvement, and regulatory compliance. As such, you will demonstrate:
Strong knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.
Experience in ISO system management.
Track record of attaining new standards for organisations.
Experience conducting internal and external audits.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
Experience in data analysis and reporting.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of industry best practices in quality management.
Certification in ISO management (preferred).
Knowledge of New Zealand & Australian work H&S regulations.
Ability to travel 4 – 6 times a year (to Auckland and Australia).
