The Economic Development and Tourism Branch is the Government's advisor on all things Economic Development, and Tourism and Hospitality. We are seeking an Investment Coordinator to join our Investment Management and Performance (IMP) team. Tourism is New Zealand's second largest export earner and is a significant sector in the Government's goal to double the value of exports in ten years. You will play a leading role in delivering an ambitious investment work programme. The IMP team provides specialist investment support for the planning, coordination and execution of funding processes and contract administration for MBIE's Tourism & Hospitality investment portfolio. Approximately, 100 million in Crown investment is overseen by the IMP team. Working with other members of the team, the Investment Coordinator will make a valuable contribution to maximise the tourism investment operations to meet New Zealand's economic, social and environmental goals.
