With a strong track record and good progress in New Zealand to date, they are now looking to appoint an Investment Analyst.You will assist the Investment Directors in assessing and executing new investment opportunities as well as conducting research and analysis, developing financial models, preparing credit papers and assisting in investment decision making.Your Background1-3 years experience working in credit fund lending, corporate/institutional banking, Big 4 corporate finance, investment banking or transaction services roles.Proficient in financial modelling (Microsoft Excel) and financial and credit analysis.Strong analytical and quantitative skills.Interest in private credit, fixed income, and equity markets.Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and experience in preparing information memorandums and/or credit submissions (Microsoft Word and PowerPoint).Excellent interpersonal skills to relate and interact effectively with key internal and external stakeholders.Candidates will require a tertiary qualification in commerce/finance and/or law and ideally other external qualifications, e.g.
