The key function of this role is to to enhance the investment business through timely and accurate financial management, reporting, and partner engagement. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in commercial accounting and cashflow management. The qualification required for the role is 3 years as a chartered accountant. The experience required is 5 years of commercial accounting experience.Reporting to the Investment Business Manager, success in this role will require the following key skills and attributes:Month-end accountingTax complianceEntity management in XeroPrepare and present key financial reports to stakeholders, including investment partners, banks and the boardCashflow managementDevelop financial models for new projects and proposals in excel and adaptiveReconcile and analyse post-harvest payments and deductionsResponding to investment partner queries (phone, email, face-to-face)Financial forecasts using AdaptiveLead annual audit processOversee insurance renewal This is a full time role located in Bay of Plenty, with opportunities for further career advancement within the Investment or Finance team.
