Our team is committed to working with our customers to fully understand their supply chain and to maximise efficiencies as well as reducing the cost to do business.We're looking for an International Business Development Manager to join our Primary Connect+ business here in Aotearoa reporting to our Senior Business Development Manager - Primary Connect+.About the Role | Mo te TurangaJoining our Primary Connect+ team you'll take accountability for growing the Primary Connect+ International and Warehousing reach across New Zealand, Australia and beyond. You'll be responsible for generating new leads and maximising revenue for the PC+ business.Some of the key responsibilities:Get out to customers, including in the regions, for face to face meetings to develop meaningful relationshipsGrow the 3PL warehousing solution (both for International and Domestic customers), and related transport to the end destination, with our carrier partners.Work and maintain good working relationships with current PC+ customers, and potential other customers, engage directly with their logistics team who manage international shipping and warehousing.Help develop the Primary Connect+ Brand in the market and positively reflect WWNZ values in our public activities and eventsWork with the other Business development managers and Account managers on all areas of their business needs and offer support and backup when requested by your manager.Liaising with the Australian International team closely who will create rates and manage the onboarding trans tasman.To succeed in this role you will bring:3+ years of experience in business development specifically in Supply ChainProven international freight experience industry wideSolid understanding of 3PL warehouse operations, implementation processes, and best practicesAn ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels and will have a strategic and tactical lens to be able to bring new customers and vendors along the Primary Connect+ journey.Sound inventory management knowledge of setting up customers in 3PL from inception to go liveSignificant experience in preparing and managing to operational budgets and managing invoicingIf you're the sort of individual who strives to always do the right thing for customers, team, our communities, and our business then we ought to connect.Working with Woolworths NZ | Me mahi tahi tatou ki Woolworths NZOur purpose is to make Kiwis' lives a little better every day.
