If you have a solid background in the timber and building industries and possess a keen eye for detail, we want you to help drive the success of our veneer product lines.As the Internal Lining Category Manager, you will play a crucial role in the development, launch, and sustained success of our timber veneer panel and interior lining products. You will oversee all technical aspects of the category, ensuring adherence to building codes, product specifications, testing, and compliance. Your problem-solving skills and effective communication will be vital as you support our sales team and collaborate with trade professionals such as architects, builders, and contractors.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute strategic vision for veneer product lines.Drive sales growth through training and support for the sales team.Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key customers.Design, prototype, and launch new veneer products.Ensure products meet industry standards and compliance requirements.Provide technical guidance to sales, marketing, and customer service teams.Address and resolve warranty concerns and manage on-site inspections.Report quality control issues and manage the warranty budget.Key Competencies:Minimum 3 years of experience in product management within the building materials industry.At least 2 years of experience with technical specifications in the building industry.Passion for and experience with timber is essential.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to manage multiple teams and projects.Excellent technical writing and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with building codes, technical specifications, and compliance requirements.Experience with product testing and performance evaluation.Ability to work effectively with architects, builders, and contractors.Proficiency in IT systems and adaptability to new software and tools.Joining our team means having the opportunity to lead and shape a new product category in a dynamic and innovative environment.
