The role
In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of our internal quality audit program, acting not only as an auditor but also as a coach and change facilitator. You will mentor and train our people on best practice, always having a quality mind-set, constantly being audit ready and consulting throughout Douglas on all things audit.
You will collaborate closely with various teams to address cGMP audit findings and foster a culture of quality improvement. Your expertise will be crucial in coaching our team members, guiding them on effective practices for resolving audit findings and writing impactful Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
Your work will involve a blend of auditing, training, and change management, all aimed at enhancing our strong quality culture. You'll have the opportunity to analyse trends, identify areas for improvement, and support the development of company-wide initiatives that uplift our quality standards and practices.
Collaboration is key; you will report to and work closely with our Head of Quality Assurance. You will also partner with general managers and department heads across our business. You'll create a cohesive approach to quality and compliance that resonates throughout Douglas.
You will be:

An experienced QUALITY AUDITOR - you have a deep understanding of internal auditing, strong judgement in assessing complex or uncertain alternatives including clear assessment of compliance risk.
A PHARMACEUTICAL QUALITY INDUSTRY expert - you have worked in the pharmaceutical space and understand a cGMP environment inside and out. Our industry is specific and significant experience is required to lead our auditing efforts.
A CHANGE professional - who is comfortable guiding others through change, confident to be able to suggest changes and guide implementation. You will be able to assess compliance risk and advise on industry changes.
An expert COLLABORATOR - you excel at building relationships and fostering collaboration across teams. Your coaching skills enable you to inspire and elevate others, and you can make a tangible impact.
A CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT mindset - where you will have vision to see where we can improve and how to get us there. You are a natural problem solver.
