About the Role
We present an exciting opportunity for an Internal Account Manager to join our Comstor Inside Sales team.
The Internal Account Manager (IAM) is responsible for identifying and qualifying opportunities through to closure within an assigned territory.
Key responsibilities:
Achieve the revenue and gross profit targets in line with Company directives and objectives
Deliver a customer obsession approach which ensures the highest level of service for our customers
Maintain and expand database of prospects within assigned territory
Ensure accurate and complete information is captured in CRM
Perform 'Reason to Call' campaign activity to uncover net new opportunities within assigned territory
First point of contact for quotations and opportunity management
Ensure sales pipeline is accurate and remains full of qualified opportunities and leads
Gain a thorough understanding of the clientele business, resulting in knowledgeable contribution pro-active sales support & increased business
Analyse and monitor the performance of the customer base to identify areas of opportunity and to pre-empt customer issues
Ensure customers are kept up to date with relevant developments from all vendors and Westcon – Comstor services
Articulate the Westcon Group value messaging in a professional and consistent manner
Achieve set metrics for engagement activity (call / email) and forecasting
Develop and execute territory plans
Identify, form and continue rapport with key vendor stakeholders
What we are looking for in the ideal candidate:
Minimum 1 year experience in a business-2-business environment
Proficient CRM and computer skills, including email, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Track record of over-achieving quota and / or KPIs
Understanding of the sales administration process
Strong work ethic and highly motivated
Sense of urgency and willingness to use initiative
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong phone presence
