What you'll be doing | He aha tau e mahi ana The internship will be based in our Auckland North region where you'll have the opportunity to work with and learn from our experienced Case Management team and Work Brokers.
Your fresh perspective will contribute to a variety of tasks aimed at improving social and employment outcomes for clients.
Supporting students and school leavers in getting the correct financial assistance and understanding their obligations.
Helping clients maintain up-to-date CVs and Jobseeker Profiles to ensure they are work ready.
Demonstrating how to use MyMSD, search for jobs online, and navigate other job-seeking tools.
Documenting employment conversations and maintaining secure client records.
You'll also have the chance to shadow other service delivery teams, providing you with a broader understanding of MSD's work.

You will be paid for the statutory holidays: 25 December, 26 December, 1 January, and 2 January.
The rest of the break period will be unpaid, as part of a scheduled work pause.
Start and finish dates may vary slightly depending on regional needs and University schedules.
