As an Intermediate Solicitor in the Litigation team, you will work on a wide range of public law litigation matters, from applications for Judicial review to claims for breaches of the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act, to Coronial inquests and other proceedings before Tribunals and the Courts.
You will advise on post-detention orders and myriad other issues that arise from the organisation's complex operating environment and the contested space between public powers and individual rights.

As a member of the wider legal team, you will be working to help Ara Poutama deliver on its strategy – Hokai Rangi – which is focused on the pursuit of oranga, the wellbeing of people; to help ensure government according to law; to keep communities safe and to change lives.
