You will be supporting the Mechanical Engineering and Design team by: Applying mechanical engineering and design standards/codes/systems and processes under the guidance of the Lead Mechanical Engineer. Working closely with the mechanical/piping design team and other disciplines to facilitate their 3D modelling and 2D outputs. Specifying and detailing mechanical equipment and systems and supporting the follow-on procurement process. Delivering 'fit for purpose' solutions that meet the requirements of both end user requirements and the in-house fabrication team. Working with the Lead Mechanical Engineer to improve internal systems and software. You will have the following skills and experience: Broad knowledge and experience in latest technology and work methods. A sound working knowledge of mechanical design and construction of pressure piping and facilities and knowledge in pressure vessels and associated process equipment. Ability to lead and guide a team to deliver to clients. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate between Piping team and other disciplines. Solid Time management and Organisational skills. Proven problem-solving abilities and developing ability to self-direct in the pursuit of the same. To be considered and successful in this role you will have: 5+ years previous experience in a relevant industry - Pharmaceutical, Food, Dairy, Oil and Gas or New Energy (note: late graduate engineers would be considered for this role) Relevant tertiary level qualification Dialog Fitzroy has established a reputation as a leading provider of engineering, construction and fabric maintenance services to the industry including: Energy, Chemical, Pharmaceuticals, Dairy and Infrastructure.
