Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join their Gisborne-based team on a permanent basis. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to impactful projects in a region that has been shaped by recent environmental challenges. The Role: You'll work within a national civil engineering team, delivering local and national projects, primarily in the infrastructure and commercial sectors. As an intermediate or senior civil engineer, you will have a key involvement in project delivery, design, site supervision, contract management, client liaison, and mentorship of junior engineers. This company is a well-respected name throughout Gisborne and are looking for candidates who are interested in laying roots down within the region. Key Skills:  A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)At least 5+ years' experience within a NZ consulting environment CPEng (Chartered Professional Engineer) is advantageous but not mandatory. Support can be offered for you to work towards this. Able to demonstrate a variety of project complexity across the commercial and infrastructure sectorsPrior experience working within a multi-disciplinary environment with a specific understanding of Structural & Geotechnical services Client focused with exceptional communication skills Confident decision maker and the ability to think outside the box.
