We are currently working on behalf of a well-regarded C.A firm based in Wellington CBD, who are on the lookout for an Intermediate / Senior Accountant to join their team.
As an Intermediate / Senior Business Advisory Accountant, you will be able to maintain a portfolio of clients and provide accounting advice to SME level companies regarding their tax, financial statements, and general bookkeeping.
This role is ideal for someone who has current CA public practice experience that wants a well-defined work / life balance and autonomy in the office.

What you'll be doing:
Managing a portfolio of clients via face-to-face meetings, phone, and email-based communication
Full end-to-end client advisory
Conducting various tax returns and compliance
Conducting reconciliations and financial statements
Running payroll runs for a variety of clients
What you'll need to succeed:
Ideally be enrolled in the CAANZ programme or have recently achieved CA status
At least 2 years of recent Public Practice experience
Ability to use XERO at an intermediate/advanced level
Capable of using MS Excel to an intermediate/advanced level
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Be immaculately presented
Have NZ Residency or NZ Citizenship
