We currently have opportunities for committed and talented Accountants to join our team in our Auckland office. The role provides you with the opportunity to work within an experienced, collaborative team, providing a range of services and liaising with managers, clients, and our friendly staff.
You will be preparing tax returns, financial statements, GST returns, and reconciliations for companies, partnerships, and trusts. Depending on your experience, you may also prepare budgets and cash flows.
As a BAS Accountant, you'll work closely alongside the Director and Managers on a diverse range of clients, leveraging their years of knowledge and experience while ensuring the work you do for your portfolio of clients is top-notch.
The role will involve completing a range of tax returns and producing the full set of annual accounts. Additionally, there will be opportunities for you to develop your Business Advisory skills by providing value-adding services such as forecasting, cash flow statements, and budgets.
About You:
Experience as an Accountant in a New Zealand Accounting firm for a minimum of 2 years.
Technical skills and experience to provide Business Advisory work.
Ability to communicate in a professional and personable way (both written and verbally).
Tech-savvy – we use MYOB, Xero, and its add-ons, and aim to keep up with the latest technology to aid our business and clients.
A proactive approach and willingness to take initiative.
Ability to support other team members as needed.
B.Com in Accounting and Finance.
Strong commitment to meeting targets and deadlines.
A positive and cheerful personality.
Attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Ability to communicate in Mandarin is desirable.
