I am currently seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a leading residential property developer, in delivering a 58-unit residential project in Rotorua. This position offers a stable workload with at least 4-5 years of projects in the pipeline.
About the Company: Our client is a prominent national developer committed to building affordable homes for New Zealanders. They collaborate closely with housing providers and property investors to manage development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
What they are looking for:
Previous experience with townhouses or light commercial
Experience working with suppliers and subcontractors essential
Proficiency in Cost Management software or ability to learn
Building plan reviews, cost estimation and tender document preparation
Proficiency with measurements, accuracy and diligence are essential
Have multi-tasking skill and able to work under pressure
Personal Attributes:
Consistent and clear communicator both written and verbal
Able to build and maintain positive relationships
Able to work as a collaborative team player
A sense of humor and team spirit, celebrating successes
Pro-active, approachable, committed to enabling others to achieve positive outcomes
Ideally you will either live in Rotorua or aren't too far from Rotorua.
