Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

This is a national developer building across NZ in key cities and towns in a high growth sector. They have an energetic working environment and are well placed for further growth in the coming years.They have a significant project that is under construction and is now in need of an Intermediate QS to support a Senior QS.The role will include but not be limited to:Pricing and estimating of build costsBudget management across both civil and commercial elementsJob cost management in liaison with project and development managersTendering evaluation and letting of contractsProject administration including sub contractor agreements, progress claim management and variation claims checkingBack costing, invoicing and supplier and sub contract price checkingYour background consists of the following:Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying5+ years experience of working in Quantity Surveyor capacity on commercial projects in NZ from $10M - $50MStrong Financial Reporting and Subcontractor management backgroundClear and effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a teamStrong Procore financial management strengthsThis role will offer you the opportunity to work on the development side and have full learning and development support from a talented Senior QS and PM.Remuneration: $110K -$125K
