Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

My client is a leading construction company based in Tauranga, specialising in high-quality residential and commercial projects throughout the Bay of Plenty. With a strong focus on sustainability, innovation, and customer satisfaction, they are committed to building robust business partnerships and delivering services that exceed expectations.
About the role: This role is predominately commercial-based, and you will be a crucial part of a small team working on a mixture of commercial and residential construction projects.
Responsibilities include:
Estimating and tendering
Contract Administration
Ensuring deadlines are met
Experience:
Relevant New Zealand tertiary qualification
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience working as a QS in New Zealand
Experience with Aconex and Sage preferred, but not essential
Experience with NZ contracts, including government contracts
Experience with Seismic strengthening, Commercial alterations, Residential and Fitouts
Practical building experience preferred
Team player with the right attitude
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Experience in renovations would be advantageous
