Full Job Description: Expressions of interest being accepted for a highly successful Developer needing an experienced intermediate commercial Quantity Surveyor to join its dynamic team and deliver some complex multi-level projects. The role is to be based in Tauranga, and this progressive developer prides themselves in delivering a high-end quality product.
Intermediate Quantity Surveyor – New build construction project. Working directly for a highly recognised Developer with a long history of success. Main commercial Contractor side applicants preferred. Developer brings an excellent reputation for quality construction and high-end developments. Key qualities sought: Communication, presentation, delivery, problem-solving skills, and commercially astute. Tauranga based. Requirements: PLEASE NOTE: You must have NZ citizenship or NZ Residency in place coupled with NZ commercial experience to be considered for this role.
They are seeking a QS who can demonstrate previous success with established contractors or commercial developers. You will value key relationships and have strong presentation, contracts admin, and commercial management skills. You should be able to work in a team but equally be comfortable and reliable working autonomously.
You will be reporting to the Senior QS and will be responsible for helping oversee the delivery of complex large projects. It is anticipated you will have a sound contractual understanding and importantly you will be required to utilize your excellent communication & interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers, negotiate, whilst continually representing the company in a professional manner.
To be suitable for this position it is anticipated that you will possess the following:
NZ experience with degree or diploma qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar tertiary qualification.
