About the roleMy client is seeking an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join their talented team in Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand.
This full-time role within the Financial Accounting & Reporting department offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic objectives of their growing company.What you'll be doingMaintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and accountsAssist with preparing financial statements, budgets, and management reportsConduct reconciliations (bank, accounts payable/receivable, etc.
)Processing annual accounts & GST'sHelp with month-end and year-end processesProvide support for audits and reporting requirementsWhat they're looking forQualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent with 2-5 years of relevant experienceStrong working knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices and reporting standardsProficient in Xero, XPM, CCH Workpapers, FYI Docs is advantageousExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamPassion for continuous learning and professional developmentWhat they offerMy client is committed to supporting their employees' growth and development.
