Interim Finance/Payroll Assistant

MCS Group is urgently seeking a Temporary Accounts (Payroll) Assistant on behalf of a key client based in South Belfast.Immediate start. Role based fully onsite.Both part-time and full-time candidates welcome to apply (minimum 3 days per week). Temporary to permanent potential for the successful candidate.Purpose of the Role:The role of accounts and payroll assistant is to continually provide support processing payroll, recording transactions, dealing with queries, preparing invoices, and communicating with clients and members to ensure excellent service.Accounts and Payroll Duties:Assist in processing member time sheets and payroll every pay period (weekly).Maintain the payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data.Answer member queries in relation to their weekly payroll, holiday requests, holiday pay, maternity leave, statutory sick pay, etc.Respond to client queries.Assist with identifying, investigating, and resolving discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records.Adhere to policies and procedures in line with compliance, law, and regulatory bodies i.e. HMRC, RQIA, NISCC, NMC.Assist with preparing, sending, and storing invoices to clients and third-party vendors (suppliers).Responsible for updating internal accounting databases, records, and spreadsheets.Assist with daily credit control maintenance.Competitive hourly rate on offer for the successful candidate.What do I do next?To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up-to-date CV via the link provided or contact Clare Simpson, Specialist Interim & Contract Finance Consultant at MCS Group.
