MCS Group are delighted to be assisting a market leader within the IT/Tech sector source an Interim Finance Manager.We are delighted to be partnering with our client EXCLUSIVELY on this role.Immediate/Urgent Need.Belfast City Centre Location.3-6 months DurationThe Role:You will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller & CFO & duties will include:Execute accounting processes including revenue recognition and other technical accounting areasLead the Monthly financial close to ensure completeness of the day-to-day activitiesResponsible for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures, i.e., journal entries, account reconciliations including payroll, month-end production of Group consolidationReview balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis for management and audit reviewManage Cash functions including timely reconciliations and funding for international entitiesMaintain a strong internal control environment, updating controls and processes as neededManage the Fixed Assets and streamline fixed asset trackingPromote a culture of improvement and operational innovation to improve processesOver time supervise and develop the team and support their professional growthAssist with financial analysis and special projects as neededManagement of payroll and pension services, including journal preparationManage VAT reporting and complianceManage UK tax reporting including PSA and P11dManage UK reporting activitiesManage cash monitoringSupport in approval of paymentsManage & support Grant applications and reportingSupport external and internal auditorsThe Person:The successful candidate will be highly organised, resilient, and able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment with the ability to adapt to change. The ideal candidate will work both independently and within a team and show initiative to seek ways to improve processes and efficiency where necessary.Experience Required:Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar roleExperience of managing or leading a teamExperience of accounting for international subs essential and experience in international payroll is desirableExperience in Enterprise Software is highly desirable.Experience of Sage Intacct or similar softwareExperience in financial management software and advanced Excel skills.Thorough understanding of accounting principles.
