We are seeking an experienced Insurance Adviser to join our phone-based team located in Invercargill. The purpose of the Insurance Adviser role is to provide a quality client service experience, working proactively to ascertain clients' insurance needs and providing advice on appropriate insurance solutions both at time of the initial client engagement and at review discussions. An Insurance Adviser builds and develops professional, enduring relationships with clients and business partners, meets all relevant conduct and compliance obligations and maintains accurate records of all SBS Insurance's activities. To be successful in this role you will preferably have; Previous insurance or finance industry experience. Previous experience working in a phone-based role. Demonstrated experience of delivering quality client outcomes. Ability to work independently with honesty, flexibility, adaptability, and consistency within a small team. It is preferred that applicants would have completed the NZ Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) in both the Life & Health Insurance, and General Insurance, strands, however support can be given to complete this qualification.
