Job Description The opportunityWe are looking for an Instructional Designer.
At Skills Group, you'll merge instructional design expertise with technology, creating innovative learning and assessment resources for both internal teams and external clients.
This is a fixed-term role that you can work from anywhere in the country with a strong focus on Product Development and Delivery, where you'll shape impactful, industry-relevant educational materials in diverse formats, especially digital.
Your key responsibilities: Learning and Assessment Resource Design Develop and write learning and assessment resources, both paper-based and digital, in collaboration with industry groups and stakeholders.
Design and publish consistent, high-quality learning materials using templates and publishing tools.
Integrate skill-building strategies, including foundational skills like literacy, numeracy, and digital competency.
Contribute to storyboarding, authoring, and reviewing e-learning content and blended learning resources.
Provision of Information Advise stakeholders on the innovative use of learning and assessment resources.
Track project progress, proactively manage any delays, and keep stakeholders informed.
Relationship Management Build and maintain strong working relationships with subject matter experts, industry representatives, and clients.
Desired Skills and Experience Your qualifications & skills: Qualifications and Experience Formal qualifications in instructional design, learning development, or related fields.
Experience with Learning Management Systems and e-learning principles.
A background in teaching or tutoring is a plus.
Organisational and Planning Skills Proven ability to manage projects within clear instructional guidelines.
Experience in adhering to established processes and managing workflow.
Analytical and Evaluation Skills Strong analytical skills with experience in evaluating learning methods.
Facilitation and Communication Skills Excellent written communication skills and proven facilitation abilities.
Technical Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and advanced in Articulate software.
