Job Description
We are expanding our team of Inspector/Verifiers in the Hawkes Bay Region. This role will be based at our Napier office but will require travel across the Hawkes Bay region.
In this role you will assist with commercial inspections, verifying and surveying in the Hawkes Bay region, always ensuring that all tasks undertaken are performed in a truly professional manner so that the integrity of SGS is not compromised in any way.
Qualifications
Previous Horticulture work experience and/or a certificate in Horticulture.
On the job training will be offered to the successful candidate.
Must be able to follow procedures and understand exporting regulations.
Knowledge of the MPI Assurance System Framework advantageous.
A professional presentation and strong customer skills.
Able to organize own work schedule, self-motivated and work unsupervised in remote locations.
Ability to work additional hours as and when required.
Proficient report writing and computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as simple database management.
A current and full New Zealand driver's license and the ability to operate a manual vehicle.
