We have an exciting opportunity for a physio to join our Hospital Services team to deliver post-operative physiotherapy to the inpatients at St Georges Hospital.This permanent, part-time role is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of our growing Hospital Services Team and experience working within a hospital environment.The hours of work will be Wednesdays (8.30am-12.30pm), Thursdays (8.30am-12.30pm) and Fridays (8.30am-11.30am) guaranteed and shifts will be mainly at St George's hospital, although there may be some patients to see at Forte Hospital. The hospital caseload varies so at times there will be the opportunity to work extra hours on agreement with your manager.You would also be expected to be on the hospital weekend roster. This would entail 1-2 weekends a month, guaranteed paid for a minimum of 6 hours across the weekend. Actual hours worked will depend on caseload and on average you can expect to work around 4 hours per day in total, but it may be less and on the odd occasion up to a full day. An indication of case load will be provided at least 2 days in advance of each shift. The weekend roster is paid at a higher hourly rate.You will be provided with a comprehensive orientation as well as the ability to shadow our Hospital Lead.The role is suitable for any Physiotherapist, from new grad to senior clinician and involves providing inpatient services post operatively to orthopaedic, general surgery and cardiothoracic surgical patients.Physiotherapists returning from parental leave and looking for a supervised role are also welcome to apply.Our size allows us to provide a range of career development options within the business whether you want to grow clinically, diversify into other areas or learn to manage other clinicians as part of a clinic team.
