Transitioning Auckland's transport network on such a mammoth scale is no mean feat and we need a talented team to ensure we are up to this task. We are seeking an Infrastructure Specifications Lead for Rapid Transit - This role is responsible for the planning, specification, prioritisation and delivery oversight of the Rapid Transit infrastructure capital programme for Auckland Transport. You will establish a deep understanding of AT's Rapid Transit infrastructure and lead the development of improvement programmes. It is expected that the programmes will need to be continuously prioritised and optimised in conjunction with the relevant infrastructure delivery team. This role is responsible for subject matter expert input and advocacy with internal and external stakeholders regarding any matter to do with Rapid Transit infrastructure across the Auckland region. Te Whiwhinga mahi?- The Opportunity Scoping, specifying and prioritising detailed investigations and the subsequent delivery of future enhancements to Rapid Transit Network infrastructure, primarily at rail and busway stations.Working with the key internal AT teams to review issues on in-flight projects and provide subject matter expertise and direction.Reprioritising the components of the Rapid Transit infrastructure programme in response to changes in circumstances.Proactively working with other parts of AT to build cross-business capabilities to understand the technical, logistical, and statutory requirements for Rapid Transit infrastructure requirements.Acting as the interface between operational teams and infrastructure delivery teams, to ensure that public transport infrastructure development and user requirements meets customer and business needs.Responding to internal and external business and customer technical enquiries concerning Rapid Transit infrastructure.Identifying new projects that offer value for our customers and operators.Overseeing investigations into rapid transit infrastructure enhancements, with options and analysis provided to allow informed decision making.
