Job Category: Administration and Office, Environmental Services, ITAs a Knowledge Management Officer, you'll manage the flow of inwards correspondence using knowledge management systems, ensuring it reaches the right section for action. You'll also assist in maintaining and safeguarding Environment Canterbury's archival collection, including off-site storage, while supporting digitisation efforts to Public Records Act standards. The role involves providing reference services and contributing to software testing for improved system functionality.Manage incoming correspondence via knowledge systemsWork with a regional leader in environmental protectionSecure the future of important recordsFacilitate the flow of correspondence to relevant teamsAssist in the management and accessibility of archival collectionsUndertake digitisation of archival recordsContribute to maintaining archival holdings and public recordsSupport testing and upgrades of knowledge management systemsYou'll be detail-oriented with a passion for preserving history, bringing strong knowledge management and record-keeping skills. Your technical proficiency in digitisation software, along with an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, will be essential.
