We have a part-time opportunity for an Information Consultant to join our friendly team at the Whangarei isite Visitor Centre. This role provides an important first point of contact for domestic, international, and local visitors.We would love to hear from anyone who has experience in sales/tourism/customer service and are passionate about promoting our district and its unique visitor experiences to people from all walks of life.If you thrive helping people, enjoy the buzz of tourism and feel rewarded by creating memorable connections with our visitors, then this is just the role for you!What you will bringTo be successful in this position, you will possess:Genuine pride and passion for our districtPrevious sales, tourism, or customer service experienceKnowledge of Whangarei District, and New Zealand as a visitor destinationAn ability to work as part of a team, and independently when requiredPersonal initiative and demonstrate a 'can do' attitudeFlexibility to work part-time (30hrs) within a 7-day rosterIn addition, the ability to speak a second language would also be an advantage.What can we offer?As well as living in an amazing part of the world, we tick a lot of boxes when it comes to looking after our people.
