Industrial Electrician

About the Opportunity Culham Engineering are seeking an Industrial Electrician to become part of our team in Whangarei.  Reporting to the Yard & Facilities Manager, you'll be a key member of our Maintenance Team, responsible for electrical services. With a focus on safety and quality, you'll use your solid problem-solving skills to fault find and repair breakdowns with confidence.  Repair or identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices to replace wiring, equipment or fixtures. You will need confidence in troubleshooting issues that occur, strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills will see you working collaboratively within the team and across our workshop/site. To be successful in this role, you will have: NZ registered Electrician (Certificate in Electrical Engineering L4 or higher)Current practising licenceProven industrial electrical experienceExperience working at heightAbility to demonstrate leadership qualities About the Company Established in 1958, Culham Engineering has  65 years' experience in heavy engineering, petrochemical, industrial maintenance and the construction industry with branches located in Whangarei, Tokoroa, Kawerau and Auckland.  Our fabrication facility in Whangarei, is one of New Zealand's largest. We also have our own in-house blasting and painting facility, heavy haulage and craneage.
