Mo tenei turanga | About the Role
The Implementation Advisor position plays a key role in providing timely and accurate responses to enquiries received via email and phone. This role works closely alongside subject matter expects across the organisation to prepare responses to enquiries we from health professionals, members of the public and advocacy groups.
The Implementation Advisor also supports our Implementation team by contributing to the delivery of implementation projects and activities.
Based in our Implementation Team, this role reports directly to the Team Leader, Implementation. The Implementation Team play an important role to promote the responsible, optimal and equitable use of pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
This role is Pharmac band 6, with a range of $77,165 - $104,399 total remuneration (inclusive of 3% KiwiSaver Employer contribution). The appointment salary is between $77,165 and midpoint of band 6; $90,782 and is subject to the preferred candidate's relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.

Our ideal candidate would bring:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with an ability to build rapport and trust with internal and external stakeholders
Self-driven and able to manage multiple pieces of work at the same time
A strong understanding of the Aotearoa New Zealand health system and Pharmac's role
A pharmacy or pharmacy technician qualification is desirable, but not essential

At Pharmac | Te Pataka Whaioranga we welcome all kaimahi with a mihi whakatau during their first month. For kaimahi Maori, we offer mihi whakatau on your first day, where your whanau and manuhiri are welcome to attend. As you come through our waharoa, you will be welcomed into our growing support network - Maori Caucus.
This role is Pharmac band 6, with a total range of $78,696 - $118,044 total remuneration. The appointment range is anticipated to be between $83,512 - $95,321 total remuneration, inclusive of 3% KiwiSaver Employer contribution. The appointment salary is subject to the preferred candidate's relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
