Working in our new purpose-built facility in central Whangarei, we are currently looking for an experienced ICT Systems Engineer to support in the facilitation, development, and delivery of ICT Infrastructure focused projects and emerging technologies.
As part of the ICT Systems Engineering Team, the successful applicant will manage ICT Infrastructure related incidents and requests while also ensuring the security of the WDC ICT environment.
The role will also include:
Identification of infrastructure risks to WDC ICT environmentMaintenance and development of existing systemsManagement of ICT operational and system improvementsActive support of BAU upgrades, updates, and improvements to infrastructure and application suiteChampioning and delivering a secure working environmentIf you think you have what it takes to be successful in this role and are eager for us to consider your application, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer ScienceMinimum of 5 years experience as a Systems or Cloud EngineerHands-on experience in the design, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of complex IT systemsA good understanding of change management and controlAbility to maintain operating systems, physical systems, and installed systems with system management toolsSolid experience in Cyber Security SystemsExperience in Enterprise networksExperience in Authentication and IdentityComprehensive proficiency across Microsoft technologies, Cloud platforms, Virtualization, storage, and application deliveryWe offer a professional and progressive working environment, continuous learning and development opportunities, a range of flexible working and work/life balance options, Health Insurance, Life Insurance (2x your base salary), and payment of a professional membership.
Salary range: $88,000 - $100,000 per annum
Hours of work: 37.5 per week
