We are seeking a qualified and experienced Air-Conditioning Technician to provide effective heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) servicing and solutions for these properties.This is an autonomous role, and as our core HVAC Technician you will be responsible for managing and undertaking the successful delivery of service maintenance, planned and reactive, installation and compliance of HVAC across the properties serviced.You will work closely with our broader property and project teams to ensure that installation and servicing is completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities:Maintenance: Carry out routine maintenance, servicing and inspections to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of HVAC systems and in line with all relevant regulations, codes & standards.Repairs: Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair faults, replacing components as necessary to restore functionality.Installation: Expertly install air-conditioning systems and components in accordance with manufacturer specifications and regulations, codes and standards.Compliance: Issue Producer Statements and 12A Certificates ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical issues and solutions clearly and offering preventative maintenance advice.Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety regulations, codes and standards at all times.Quoting & Invoicing: Accurately and efficiently generate detailed quotes, and keep accurate records of work completed and materials used for timely invoicing.Team work: Collaborate with broader property and project teams to ensure smooth project delivery and provide technical support and advice.Experience and Qualifications:Certification:New Zealand HVAC certification or recognised equivalent.Current Electrical Service Technical (EST) Licence.Approved Fillers Ticket.Registered IQP able to issue 12A certificates, or have the qualifications and experience required to become IQP registered.A clean full unrestricted Aotearoa New Zealand driver licence.Skills & experience:Proven commercial air conditioning and ventilation systems installation, servicing and maintenance experience and in-depth knowledge of high wall and ducted systems.Strong fault finding and solution generation skills.Good mechanical skills.Physically capable and able to lift heavy equipment when necessary.About you:You're not just any technician, you're a dedicated professional with:Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently & autonomously.Availability for some after-hours work as required.Flexibility to travel for short periods (1-2 days at a time).Solid experience in diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and installation of HVAC.A high level of professional presentation and communication skills.A valid driver's licence / full unrestricted New Zealand driver's licence.What We Offer:Competitive remuneration based on experience and qualifications.Health insurance and discounted family health insurance.Company vehicle, laptop and phone.How to Apply:If you're a top-notch HVAC technician looking for a fully-autonomous role with a commercial focused dynamic organisation then we'd like to talk to you.Apply in the strictest of confidence using the link provided.Candidates must either be NZ citizens or hold a permanent resident visa.
