We have offices in Whangarei and Kerikeri, with approximately 300 staff. Our contracts with the Ministry of Health and the Northland District Health Board supply home-based support (domestic assistance and personal care) to disabled people of all ages in Northland, primarily clients over 65 years old with age-related disabilities.About the role:We have an opportunity for an HR Specialist to elevate our HR Services/systems.As the HR Advisor, you will:Work closely with the Corporate Services Manager and other senior staff to align the organization with the changing business needs.Manage a wide range of HR Services, including employee relations, collective agreements, performance management, training and development, recruitment, and HR development.Provide effective solutions to complex matters and manage two direct HR Administration reports (Recruitment Admin and Trainer).Engage with senior managers and stakeholders to provide proactive HR support and guidance.Support health and safety initiatives and ensure compliance with the organization's Health & Safety processes and procedures.Provide performance management advice.Support and train to drive a high-performance culture across the organization, including general administration duties.Support continuous improvement of our processes.To be successful in this role you will:Partner with the Corporate Services Manager and other senior staff to develop comprehensive people strategies aligned with business objectives in a non-profit environment.Provide effective HR services in line with the organization's strategic direction.Act as a change agent to manage change and transformation effectively.Provide leadership and support to managers on employment matters.The ideal candidate will bring:Experience in a wide range of HR/People issues, with HR viewed as a valued and trusted advisor.
