We're committed to resourcing our people in HSE, and driving improvements in how we plan our work, actively relate to our people and how we implement safeguards in our workspaces.  We are seeking a proactive and passionate HSE Advisor to join our dedicated team. Reporting to the HSE Manager, you'll contribute to the ongoing development of our HSE strategy and play a pivotal role in fostering an engaging, meaningful and positive experience in safety management, promoting good health and managing impact on the environment.   Due to the nature of our industry, this is an operational role and will require time spent both in our Kingsland office, and on our sites across Auckland. This is a full-time (45 hours), permanent position.  Your key areas of focus:  Site visits, audits, support on site.Supporting our team through HSE ISO auditsTriaging and responding to events which require a deeper dive investigationSupporting the High Energy Control Assessment (HECA) strategy Checking and maintaining currency of documentation across client prequalification organisations.Supporting our people with HSE advice and risk management conversations (Learning Teams) Understanding and communicating on client-specific HSE expectationsDeveloping a clear understanding of our system of HSE management to support our people on processes/ systems What we're looking for:  Awareness and understanding of Human Organizational Principles, High Energy Hazards and Learning Teams approaches (in general)Working knowledge of conditions that have potential for serious harm and experience in providing appropriate solutionsExcellent interpersonal skills including the ability to foster strong stakeholder relationships and encourage positive engagementReport writing experience – ability to be conciseSolid IT and data input skills Experience with interviewing and gathering of information Understanding of the construction and civil process is of value What's in it for you?  A competitive remuneration package plus vehicle Support with career development and progression Great training opportunitiesA modern central office spaceA tight-knit team with strong retention Weekly fresh fruit, breakfast supplies, and free lunch on FridaysAnnual health checks and free counselling services A long service recognition programme Social events Support when life throws you something you weren't expecting  How to apply:  If this role sounds like you, please apply by submitting your CV and Covering Letter.
