Job Description About the roleAs the Human Resources Divisional Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the people and culture strategy within your division. Reporting directly to the Group HR Manager, you will lead a small but impactful team of HR professionals, driving initiatives that support our overarching business objectives. This is more than just a managerial role; it's a chance to influence the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and beyond.You will work closely with the divisional leadership team, providing expert advice and guidance on all things people-related. Your insights will be key in helping Evolution's leadership team navigate complex HR landscapes, ensuring that we not only meet but exceed our organisational goals. This is a permanent position for 80 hours per fortnight and is located at our Corporate Offices in Auckland. Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Leadership: You will collaborate with the Group HR Manager to develop and deliver a robust People and Culture Strategy that aligns with our business goals. Your strategic thinking will help shape the future of our organisation, from workforce planning to the development of company-wide HR initiatives. Team Leadership: You will foster a culture of communication, coaching, and collaboration within your HR team, ensuring that they are well-equipped to meet their objectives and support the wider organisation. Your leadership will empower your team to excel, driving a customer-focused and values-aligned approach to HR. Management Support: Acting as a trusted advisor, you will provide guidance and support to managers across the division. Whether it's offering insights into employment relations, coaching managers on best practices, or helping them build effective teams, your expertise will be invaluable. Employment Relations: You will play a key role in managing employment relations within the division, ensuring that all matters are handled with fairness, confidentiality, and in accordance with legal obligations. Your experience in this area will be critical in maintaining a harmonious and productive workplace. Engagement and Culture: You will assist in driving employee engagement initiatives, ensuring that our people feel valued and supported.
