Full Time Application Closes 01 Nov 2024 Manawatu - Palmerston North Human Resources Assistant, Except Payroll and Timekeeping We have a rare and exciting opportunity available to join our HR team as a HR Coordinator. This is the perfect role if you are looking to grow and develop your career in HR. 
You will likely be someone with a few years of HR/Recruitment experience under your belt, or a HR graduate (or nearing graduate) that is keen to kickstart your HR career! If you don't meet all of the criteria, but are passionate about HR, with a fantastic attitude and are motivated to grow and learn we would still love to hear from you. This is a permanent opportunity, based on-site in the office, Monday – Friday at our Head Office in Palmerston North. Ideally, you will be available to start in December. 
What's involved in the role: Supporting managers and employees by providing advice on people related policies and processes. Managing the end-to-end recruitment process for TNZ head office vacancies. Managing the onboarding process for new staff and exit process for staff leavers. Supporting with facilitating training and presenting to new starters. HR project work. Activities and tasks to promote Toyota's Employer Brand. A range of other generalist HR tasks as required. To be successful, ideally you will have: A relevant tertiary level qualification (preferably in HR). Some prior HR or recruitment experience is preferred, but not essential. Fantastic people skills, with the ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders at different levels. Excellent organisational skills. Competence using the MS Office Suite. Knowledge of NZ employment legislation and HR best practice. What's in it for you?
