Job Description About the Role
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will be responsible for partnering with the Site Leadership and frontline people leaders to support the delivery of the site strategic plan. They will provide expert HR advice to support their functions and drive people initiatives which align to their priorities, strategy, KPI's and key deliverables.
Working closely with the Senior HRBP, the HRBP plays a pivotal role in operational HR functions including employee relations, talent development, succession planning and recruitment. They will act as the primary contact for the Centre of Excellence (COE) team to support the execution of routine and rhythms, initiatives and the overall people strategy.
This is a site-based role and requires onsite working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand business strategy and partner with site lead to develop people solutions to achieve it.
Build strong relationships with people leaders and employees at the site.
Train, coach and support managers and employees in effective and consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Attend site routines, including daily GEMBA walks, DPR, WPR, MPR and KHMS.
Ensure delivery of the KHMS People Pillar.
Collate meaningful people metrics to provide insight to key stakeholders in their routines and rhythms including monthly performance review meetings (MPR's).
Build capability of line managers to handle people management issues e.g. disciplinary, grievance, sickness, absence, performance management.
Work closely with the recruitment function to deliver recruitment needs across their client groups, with a key responsibility to manage internal recruitment process.
Work closely with the Senior HRBP to deliver the people budget.
Work with Operations management and Payroll Manager to ensure payroll accuracy for factory and warehouse employees.
Support the Snr HRBP with P&P routines and rhythms, including the cascade of MBO & support COE initiatives.
Support the preparation of employee engagement survey packs and analysis – partnering closely with stakeholders to debrief on results and support meaningful action plans.
Work in collaboration with leaders and employees on all HR employment matters including performance, succession planning, talent development and engagement.
Promote a performance feedback culture by assisting in the implementation of performance appraisals, performance improvement plans and leadership coaching.
Support the OPR process and help navigate people conversations to deliver performance ratings in line with global talent guidelines.
About You
Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Experience within a multi-site or complex organisation - blue collar & white-collar experience (desirable).
Ability to navigate a HRIS including accessing, inputting and compiling data; strong attention to detail; and ability to research and analyse information to produce reports.
Undergraduate qualification in Human Resources.
3+ years' experience in a similar role with a generalist background (preferred).
Experience in complex fast pace working environments (desirable).
Proficient in HR software and systems, including HRIS (Workday - desirable).
Knowledge in Australian & New Zealand employment legislation.
