We have an opportunity for a full-time Cash in Transit Security Officer to join our Armourguard team in the Hawkes Bay.
About the role:
We are looking for someone energetic who is fit and has a get-up-and-go attitude, looking for long-term work. You will ensure that all Armourguard safety standards and policies are rigorously adhered to. As a Cash in Transit Security Officer, you will be part of a 2-man crew servicing commercial clients, major banks, and ATMs across the Hawkes Bay Region. It is important to understand that when your region or NZ is shut down, Cash Services remains open as this is an essential service for the banking industry and the public.

Mandatory Requirements:
Must consent to and be able to satisfy pre-employment checks, including:
Driver Licence
Credit Check
Ministry of Justice Criminal History Checks
Immigration Check
Live in the Hawkes Bay region
Legally entitled to work in New Zealand
Hold current COA (Certificate of Approval) or ability to obtain one
Articulate with a comprehensive understanding of written and spoken English
Strong cultural awareness and understanding necessary
Reliable & Trustworthy
Our Ideal Candidate:
Previous security experience preferable
Previous driving experience for a company preferred
Having the right attitude
Proven experience following procedures
Experience meeting tight deadlines
Understanding of customer centricity
Ability to provide excellent service to clients
Experience working collaboratively within a team
Completed a defensive driving course preferable
Experience driving tactically preferable
A quick learner who retains knowledge of training

Applicants must be 18 years or older and have no criminal convictions preventing them from obtaining a Certificate of Approval (COA) under the Private Investigators and Security Guards Act 2010.
