Hr Business Partner - People And Culture Manager

Details of the offer

This is a great opportunity for an HR leader wanting to make a positive impact in a professional services setting that has clients right across the Hawkes Bay region including Central Hawkes Bay. You will wrap your arms around the HR systems, policies, and programs, and your engagement and guidance will help further shape the future, culture, and employee engagement at BM Accounting, a well-known Havelock North based business advisory and Chartered Accounting public practice. The trickle-on effect of this great new role will go well beyond HR in the workplace. There is a team of close to forty people spread across their Havelock North and Waipukurau offices. They have experienced considerable growth over recent years, and this role is all about making sure they have everything in order for and across their teams. This newly created role will provide key guidance and support across the practice, which includes 6 directors and 4 associates. You will work alongside a proactive and forward-thinking Managing Director and support the wider leadership team to ensure that the work environments, culture, and all people-related practices and processes across the business are consistent and optimized. There is plenty of scope here; your day will see you undertaking the full remit of guiding their operational and strategic HR activities, ultimately empowering and coaching leaders to equip them with the right information, processes, knowledge, and advice to effectively support the best delivery possible for business advisory and accounting teams. Your partnership approach and relatability with their service delivery model will be at the heart of your success. You will be someone who loves to have an impact in creating positive and productive work environments, and in delivering contemporary leadership and management practices. You will bring well-versed HR operational experience, including knowledge of remuneration and reward, and performance development frameworks. This could be suited to a seasoned HR advisor looking for a step up, or a senior advisor/business partner in need of a change. Either way, we are keen to hear from you. You will be a confident and clear communicator, and demonstrate solid judgment and professionalism. It goes without saying that you have a good grasp of employment legislation, Microsoft Office programs, can develop and pick up systems quickly, and you aren't afraid to get stuck in and be a visible presence with the team. If this feels like you, and you have the right HR and people expertise, then please apply through this portal. Part-time hours would be considered for the right person and this role will be well remunerated to reflect the required expertise. We will be moving quickly as suitable candidates present. For more information on this role, call the team at Populous People for a confidential discussion on 06 875 8446.
