Our CBD Apartments is seeking a Housekeeping Manager with a minimum of 5 years experience in delivering exceptional service standards Applicants with wider experience in Hotel Operations are invited to apply Join a diverse and talented team in Rosedale North This position reports to the General Manager and is responsible for Managing Housekeeping Operations and Budgets Manages a team of 8 and is responsible for recruitment coaching training and results Plans orders and manages linen suppliers relationship actively to minimise waste Orders stocks and maintains an up to date inventory Supports and supervises an effective inspection program for all guestrooms and public space Understands the impact of department s operations on the overall property financial goals and objectives and manages to achieve or exceed budgeted goals Verifies all employees have proper training supplies equipment and uniforms Supervises daily Housekeeping shift operations and verifies compliance with all housekeeping policies standards and procedures Participates in departmental meetings and continually communicates a clear and consistent message regarding the departmental goals to produce desired results Is familiar with the wider hotel operations must have a working knowledge of Front Office systems and process Provide customer service to guests as required The successful candidate will have the following 5 year of Hotel experience in a similar role A genuine passion for Guest Service Good knowledge of cleaning best practise Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organisational skills detail oriented and team player Highly motivated and is able to motivate others with the ability to develop and train Associates Basic computer skills including MS Word Excel and Outlook RMS Property Management Systems experience is preferred Able to work a variety of shifts weekdays and weekends as required for the job We Offer Competitive Salary Wages Excellent Training Development A great leadership team to work with Miscellaneous Only New Zealand Citizens Residents or valid Visa Holder to work in New Zealand would be considered Only successful applicant will be contacted for interview
