Hotel Manager

This is a full-time permanent position for 1 x Hotel Manager for the Darfield Hotel located at 37 South Terrace, Darfield 7510-Canterbury, minimum 30 hours per week, pay $30 to $32 per hour depending on experience. JOB Description Includes: Directing and overseeing reservation, reception, room service, and housekeeping activities. Supervising security arrangements, and garden and property maintenance. Planning and supervising bar, restaurant, function, and conference activities. Observing liquor, gaming, and other laws and regulations. Assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction. Overseeing accounting and purchasing activities. Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. Providing guests with local tourism information, and arranging tours and transportation. Candidate requirements: 3 years of work experience or a relevant level 4 or 5 qualification or higher. Flexibility to work within a 7 days a week operation including split shifts - willing to work on weekends. Ability to work and manage a team. Good interpersonal and communication skills. A can-do attitude and good work ethic. Must be either a New Zealand citizen/resident or hold a valid New Zealand work visa. All applicants will be subject to a NZ police check and drug test.
