Looking for fit and energetic Fast moving Hotel housekeeper We are on the lookout for dynamic and committed housekeeper; with potential to grow in the company. This is a permanent full-time position offering 30 hours a week. The main requirement is for those who can work at great speeds to turn around rooms in a short window. Really a physically demanding work to be done in quick succession day after day, so its not a job for trial or on causal basis, only seriously able and interested people apply. Each task is time limited and critical to be completed in that time to move into next room for a repeat performance. A 90 days trial period applies.
In this role you will be required to
Be able to work with chemicals on daily basis and follow safety norms to avoid any accidents.Clean guest apartments in a short window of 20 -30 mins including sanitising and cleaning all bathrooms, kitchens, utensils, glass windows, cabinets, showers, kitchen appliances, making new beds and vacuuming every inch of the room.Cleaning balconies and balustrade, balcony floors and glass slidersPlacing adequate and stipulated guest amenities and linen in the room and ensuring kitchen inventory items are complete and usable condition.Servicing occupied guest room to refresh linen, clean and dry bathrooms, showers, vacuum all floors, remove rubbish, refill guest amenities and remake guest beds.Cleaning common areas, corridors and liftsEnsure that the interior and outside public areas are maintained spotless to enhance our customer experience.Sweeping, mopping and polishing floors, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, and cleaning curtains and upholstered furniture.Making beds and restocking mini bars and bathroom and kitchen supplies in hotel rooms. Some heavy lifting is required.Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures and fittings.Waste disposalEnsuring communal areas are clean. Picking up, sorting, washing, drying, ironing of clothesBe available to conduct deep clean and spring cleaning by use of harsher chemicals safely and follow safety protocols.Organize and clean housekeeping facilities and restocking amenities and linen supplies. At least 6 months of previous commercial housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality related business essential. This job may require interacting with inhouse guest so knowledge of working English is requiredThis job will require working split shifts including night shifts and working on weekends.Friendly and approachable with an ability to work under pressureExcellent time management skills are essential requirement.Candidates must show their eligibility to work in New Zealand"
