Hobson Lodge has a great opportunity to be the face of a busy CBD hostel. You'll be able to lead and inspire a team and provide continuous improvement to the business.
Due to the nature of this business, you may need to be rostered to work busy weekends and public holidays; however, a set roster is also on offer with fixed hours. This is a 'hands-on' role where you will be involved in day-to-day staff management and business operations, including facilitating maintenance and cleaning requirements.
You will have the full support of an active Area Manager and local owners who are invested in building on the opportunity Hobson Lodge has to offer.
We will be looking for:
At least 3+ years of experience in hospitality and accommodation settings, skilled in maintaining high service standards and operational efficiency.
Working knowledge of financial management and the confident ability to generate growth and revenue.
Experience with booking systems such as Cloudbeds is an advantage, along with proficiency in the MS Office Suite. Familiarity with OTAs like Hostelworld and Booking.com is highly advantageous.
