Kingslea School can provide an opportunity for you to extend your teaching skills with our rangatahi in very small classrooms of up to only 10 taiohi in Tamaki Makaurau/Auckland. We provide education for rangatahi in a Youth Justice Residence at Korowai Manaaki. This is an extremely rewarding environment with the ability to develop and adapt your teaching skills.
We are looking for an NZ primary trained teacher to work in our fabulous team of teachers. Knowledge of tikanga and te reo is an advantage.
This position requires someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This must be accompanied by a passion for making a difference with rangatahi – particularly Maori and Pasifika tane.
Usual PPTA/MOE conditions and pay scale apply.
