MASH Trust is a leading provider of disability, mental health, and addiction services. We have services throughout the lower North Island with over 550 staff and volunteers.We work as one team, empowering each other to promote community inclusion and self-determination for those we walk alongside.The Position:To be successful in this Home Coordinator position, you will mentor and inspire our team of support staff who assist people with disabilities so they can live in an environment that ensures their individual needs and aspirations are being met.Your day may include supporting people to plan day-to-day tasks, attending activities in the community, personal cares, domestic chores, or medication administration.You will be responsible for the smooth running of the home, ensuring the needs of others are met by maintaining a high standard of service.Your excellent communication skills and leadership capability will enable you to encourage your team to be successful in their role, providing them with the support and assistance that they need.The Hours: This position is full time, working 80 hours per fortnight.Week 1: Monday to Friday - 8am - 4pmWeek 2: Monday to Friday - 8am - 4pmSkills and Experience:A relevant Level 4 qualification, within healthcare preferredProven experience in successfully leading a teamA willingness to provide personal caresCurrent full NZ driver licence as you may be required to drive a 10-seater van as part of your day-to-day jobTo take pride in a healthy home environment – including cleaning, meal preparation and shoppingApplications for the above position will be reviewed as they are received so this position may close earlier if the right applicant is found.
