Position Description Holiday Park Managers: Position for a Couple We are looking for an experienced couple seeking a new opportunity living within a vibrant community close to the beach, main town, and the outdoors. Located on the warm Northern West Coast of the South Island. We do not need a traditional couple, but two people who can work and live closely together. Responsibilities: Responsible for the entire operations of the holiday park. Manage office operations and maintenance of the day-to-day activities of the Holiday Park. Ensure guests enjoy a comfortable stay while efficiently managing cleaning and maintenance. Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the Owners and the TOP 10 Group expectations, guidelines, plans, policies, and procedures. Comply with legal, regulatory, and WorkSafe requirements. Required Skills & Experience: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and perform well under pressure. Honesty, integrity, and commitment to the position. Proven ability to work in a team environment and/or autonomously, with strong people and leadership skills (minimum four years of people management experience). Hands-on leadership with a keen eye for detail, especially in cleanliness and presentation. Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. High level of computer competence, including Microsoft and Google applications. Budgeting skills for efficient park management. Experience in handyman work and maintenance skills (electrical, plumbing, or building experience is advantageous). Ability to operate park machinery safely (e.g., small tractor, lawn mowers). Daily Responsibilities: Organise staff daily rosters, workflows, and payroll. Make reservations and manage customer accounts. Involved in daily cleaning and maintenance of park facilities and grounds. Conduct landscaping duties, including lawn mowing and garden maintenance. Perform general handyman work and emergency repairs when necessary. Ensure health & safety issues are identified and rectified promptly. Manage daily stock control and reconciliation of income and expenses. Support recruitment, training, and growth of the staffing team.
