Position Description Holiday Park Managers: Position for a Couple We are looking for an experience couple looking for a new opportunity living within a vibrant community close to the beach, main town, and the outdoors. Located on the warm Northern West Coast of the South Island. We do not need a traditional couple, but two people who can working and live closely together. From you both this is what are we looking for  We require the Park managers to be responsible for the entire operations of the holiday park. This is full-time live-in position. The yearly salary for each person for an average of 45 hours per week is $70,000. Both are responsible for the management, office operations and maintenance of the day-to-day activities of the Holiday Park.  With the ability to let the guests enjoy and have a comfortable stay, All the while in the background management is efficiently running, cleaning and maintaining the park and staff.  Managers will be at all times be able to carry out their responsibilities in accordance with the Owners and the TOP 10 Group expectations, guidelines, plans, policies and procedures. While being compliant with legal, regulatory and WorkSafe requirements.
Do you have these skills & experiences:  Excellent  Ability to efficiently prioritise, organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and perform well under pressure.Be honesty, have integrity and be committed to the position.Proven ability to work in a team environment and/or autonomously, with great people and leadership skills. Having at least four  years of people management experience.Ability to lead by example (hands-on) and deliver exceptional product to our guests and met the requirements of the TOP 10 Group. In all areas of our busy holiday park, with a keen eye for detail especially in cleanliness and presentation. Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. Make firm decisions.Including the coordination of staff, and their work loadings.  be responsible to the owners and will be expected to meet with them from time to time. Keeping Owners informed anything which needs further addressing. High level of computer competence. With experience in Microsoft, goggle and the ability to learn our property management system (if not already competent).Have budgeting skill set. To work within budgets for efficient running of the park.Working within the WorkSafe/ TOP 10 health & safety framework. Met the KPI's of the Owner's expectations - at present levels, if not exceeding them. If in the past you have experience in the following would be an advantage but not always necessary - if you understand electrical, plumbing or building would be a great skill set, and are the type of people that are willing to go that extra mile, we urge you to apply. With the ability to identify the problem, solve maintenance issues. One or both of those applying will also need experience in the following: handyman work, with a wide maintenance skill set. From operate machinery safety. For example, small tractor, lawn mowers and other park machinery etc.Having the ability to efficiently prioritise and manage projects and tasks. This includes working with owners' projects when required. Those expectations and outcomes requirements are: Responsibilities & duties for the day to day running of the Park Organising Staff daily, rosters, workflows and payroll.Making reservations with individual guests or groups, communicating with them in person, or via phone and email. Manage customer accounts. Providing local information. Social media marketing and sales experience not required but would be an advantage. Meeting and being involved in local tourist information centres and businesses.Night checks, and after-hours check-ins Involved in daily cleaning and maintenance of park buildings such as rooms, facilities and groundsInvolved in daily maintenance of park equipment such as Bouncy cushion, playground and hot tubs and any other infrastructure. Including and not limited to utilities, buildings, equipment, and keep vehicles maintained and in running order.Landscaping duties, i.e. lawn mowing, weed eating, spraying and maintaining gardens on the property. Rubbish collection and disposal of waste and recycling streams. Montor usage of water, power, gas and waste streams.General handyman work, incl. basic plumbing, painting, replacing lightbulbsAfter hours work may be required for emergency repairs, other urgent matters or attending to customer matters.Being able to identify, reporting, and rectifying any health & safety issues before or as they arise. Conduct periodic inspections. Identifying, reporting and rectifying HSE issues. By creating/updating or maintaining processes and procedures when needed.Till reconciliation each day, with banking reconciliation, petty cash and reporting. Maintain income, debtors and process payment accordingly. Create and maintain budget in certain agreed areas. Day to day stock control for shop areas, and yearly stock taking. Working alongside our team and supporting each other on a day to day basis. Recruiting, inductions, training and supporting growth of the staffing team. Ensuring that everyone is safe and feels secure in the workplace. Collection of mail.Managers days off with be rosters to ensure a constant workflow.When one of management leave to attend Park business, the other or responsible staff member must be contact able via park or mobile phone.At least one must be able if required to travel and attend TOP 10 conference and forums.Align with the TOP 10 standards, culture, values and expectations.
