Access Solutions is a 100% NZ owned business that has carved out a niche as one of NZ's top equipment hire providers and specialise in fulfilling their clients specialist equipment needs, wherever they are in NZ. 
They are consistently seeking  ways to offer the highest service levels to customers and currently have an opportunity for a Hire Manager to join the Christchurch team.
This role is responsible for leading and driving the team in meeting and exceeding customer service expectations and effectively managing the operational and administrative functions of the Christchurch Hire office including utilization of the Access Equipment, Forklifts, Alluminum Scaffold fleet and workshop and transport services. 
Accountability for monthly Hire Invoicing budget, through proactive management of Hire Office, Transport, Workshop and Scaffolder teams to ensure monthly targets are achieved and in line with customer delivery expectations
Specific Duties will include
Answering customer queries via phone, fax and emailLiaising with customer's queries and bookingsCreating and processing of hire contractsOrganising transportation of equipmentCreating and processing of workshop jobsOrganising repairs and servicing of equipmentSales document processing and accurate use of the 'Hire System'Cycle billingDay to day branch work flow processingCustomer invoicingQuotes to customersEntering wage timesheets into Ezy-Time pay portalDeveloping and maintaining strong relationships with customers and the national teamThis is a hands on role that requires someone who is a strong communicator,  has a great customer service approach, a high standard of service delivery and the ability to multitask and work to deadlines 
The successful candidate will ideally have experience  within the hire / service / transport / logistics industries and will have an understanding of asset & machinery management & the challenges (& rewards) that can be faced in such operations. A technical aptitude/experience is preferred and demonstrated experience managing and leading a team is essential.
