Herd Manager

Job Description We are in a rural community named WAIMANA running a 270 cow dairy farm milking through a 30 aside Herringbone shed with automatic cup removers and infeed pellet system with Protrack.
We require 1 full-time applicant, there could be relief milking and part-time work for partner.
Daily Responsibilities Milking x2
Plan and manage feeding of stock.
Monitor effluent spreader system.
General maintenance - fencing/spraying weeds and pest control.
Excellent operation of all farm vehicles.
Applicants should have at least 2+ years of farming experience. Must be honest/reliable and work well with owners. Have 2 references. Domestic/Farm dogs to be discussed.
Accommodation 2 bedroom cottage with a side carport. Rent will be $160 per week and pay for your own power and internet.
